Chris Ewin, MD, FAAP
Dr. Ewin received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed a pediatric internship at
Tulane University. From 1986-87, he worked as a District Medical Officer for the government of Jamaica in Montego Bay supervising eight health
clinics. At that time, he served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Tulane University Department of Community Medicine supervising fourth
year medical students working in rural areas. He completed a family practice residency program at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth,
Texas and began practicing family medicine in Fort Worth in 1990. Dr. Ewin started his Fee For Care practice in 2003. He was on the Board of
Directors of the American Academy of Private Physicians (previously the Society for Innovative Medical Practice Design) from 2005-2009,
serving as President (2006-2007) and Chairman (2006-2009).
Dr. Ewin is married and has four daughters and two identical twin granddaughters.
